My Thoughts On Racism

When dealing with racial justice we must first come to understand the meaning of justice itself. That is, the principle of moral rightness or equity. In society this means the people and government must make an effort in upholding what is just, especially in aspects of fair treatment and due reward in accordance with honor, standards, or law. Now take into account this definition and apply it to race. Consider the societies we know and the issues that arise because of diverse racial differences. Racial justice then, means that society, if not the world, must make an honest effort to uphold human dignity and the equality between all human beings regardless of race. Yes, this is the way things ought to be. However, when we do consider the issues in society we must realize that there are other issues that become problematic when dealing with assimilationist ethics. These include race, location, culture etc. The final point we must realize is that covert racism is still blatant in our world today. This is the inexplicit way of racially oppressing human beings and will be addressed further on in this paper.
